Tree Program

Benefits of Planting Trees
Trees provide livestock with protection from cold wind and blowing snow, as well as hot summer sun and drying winds.
Trees provide wildlife habitat.

Trees contribute to the economic well-being of landowners.
Trees reduce flooding, improve water and oxygen, and filter contaminants.
Properly installed windbreaks can help reduce soil erosion and noise, and enhance air quality by reducing dust particles and odor.
